How to use a centrifuge

Release Time: 2023-01-31

1. The centrifuge must be placed on a sturdy, stable, level platform or floor, and must not shake.

2. Open the centrifuge sample chamber lid and check for any abnormalities. If there are any abnormalities, eliminate them first. Close the lid and connect the power. Set a basic speed and centrifugation time, and turn on the power for a no-load test.

3. After the no-load test is normal, turn off the power. Open the sample chamber and place the tubes containing the samples symmetrically in the sample chamber tube holes.

4. When placing sample tubes, be sure to place tubes of the same volume and mass in symmetrical positions.

5. Set the sample centrifugation parameters. Taking the separation of blood samples as an example, set the speed to 4000 rpm and the centrifugation time to 5 minutes. Turn on the power to centrifuge.

6. After centrifugation is complete, turn off the power and open the sample chamber lid.

7. Remove the samples from the sample chamber, observe the centrifugation effect, and if the effect does not meet the requirements, continue to set the parameters, increase the time or increase the speed, etc., to adjust, and centrifuge again until satisfied. Remove the samples after the desired centrifugation effect is achieved.
